Coke wins a Gold Lion at Cannes

Winning this award is obviously a huge honor, you can say what you want about awards, personally I try not to get caught up in the scene. But, this one is special for so many reasons:

1) it’s an interactive project getting recognized in the ‘traditional ad’ circle
2) it’s Sapient’s first Gold Lion
3) it’s a truly innovative product that combines good design and smart technology
4) and finally (and most importantly), it was an amazing small group of talented people that bonded quickly with a common vision of trying to change the way people experience and purchase a simple soda.

A few people that deserve major credit (beyond the people listed on the Cannes’ site):

New Analogue Blog

The boys over at Analogue launched their new blog. Good content and a refreshingly clean & simple design.
